Cook With Me: Air Fryer Chicken Wings & Buffalo Sauce

Air Fryer Chicken Wings & Buffalo Sauce

Looking for a healthier and quicker way to cook chicken wings? Use an air fryer! By cooking wings in the air fryer, you will achieve crispy, but healthier, chicken wings in under 30 minutes.

I use a Ninja 4 Qt Air Fryer that I bought from Target online for $100 (regular price $140).

Read below to follow this simple and quick air fryer chicken wings and buffalo sauce recipe.

Air Fryer Chicken Wings & Buffalo Sauce

INGREDIENTS

Wings 15 chicken wing sections ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp onion powder ½ tsp pepper ¼ tsp salt ¼ tsp cayenne pepper 1 tbsp baking powder Buffalo Sauce ½ cup butter (melted) ⅔ cup hot sauce 1 tbsp garlic powder

DIRECTIONS

1. If chicken wings are frozen, thaw in lukewarm water and change the water every 15 minutes until they are fully thawed. If chicken wings are refrigerated, just follow the rest of the recipe.

2. Pat dry the chicken wings to remove moisture so that the skin can crisp up. 3. Mix garlic, onion, pepper, salt, cayenne, and baking powder (NOT baking soda) in a large bowl. 4. Add chicken wings and mix with your hands until each wing is fully coated in the dry rub. 5. Preheat the air fryer for 3 minutes at 390 degrees (I use the Ninja 4 Qt Air Fryer). 6. After it’s preheated, put the chicken wings in (all of them will most likely not fit at once) and drizzle each one lightly with olive oil. 7. Cook for 13 minutes on each side at 390 degrees. 8. While the wings cook, make the buffalo by mixing the melted butter, hot sauce, and garlic powder. 9. Serve wings with buffalo dipping sauce and enjoy!
